Doing my nightly lib watch on /r/breadtube and stumble on to the most Galaxy brain comment of all time

Apparently this site is a tankie bastion and failing (despite us being open six days).

Does anyone know where exactly radlibs found the term red fascist because I have exclusively seen it on that subreddit and it's pretty amusing to call pretty much the de facto communist ideology "red fascism". I hate sectarianism and pretty much everyone I watch on breadtube is an anarchist and I am genuinely confused on where they are being taught to rally against MLs more than capitalists. I legit am starting to believe that breadtube has fallen for aesthetics over theory and it saddens me. Cant wait for c/videos enough because somehow chapo is the only place that doesn't result in sectarianism unless you count calling everyone a lib sectarian.

Spoilers anarkiddies and tankies alike, we all want the same fucking thing. Arguing with each other on how we should get there instead of arguing with libs on why we should get there accomplishes zilch.

Yep breadtube has gone full redscare at this point having banned three of my accounts for literally just asking for sources not connected to HRW or Adrian Zenz (never got a source btw) when it came to that new China bad last week tonight episode

Idk I think at this point the tankies are slightly ahead because they literally had nowhere else to go besides /r/GenZedong but that could just be confirmation bias. Maybe there are a bunch of ancoms who like tankie memeing which skews the stats. Not that it really matters. We all get along here and EVERYONE is expected to back up their claims so blatantly false circle jerks don't really propagate. That's why we aren't China bad like other leftist spaces, people here are expected to read.

I mean people totally still circlejerky a lot of the time here tbh. Like "china good" or "dprk unironically good" is a circlejerk post.

I feel there's a difference between circle jerking that tankies are red fash and aren't true leftists and saying China good and be willing to argue why China good. Nobody here arrived at the China good stance without reading a lot of China bad articles but the only reason radlibs say red fash is cuz their parasocial best friend vaush said so.

Obv I'm very fucking biased so take this with a grain of salt! Just know that as long as you ain't a radlib you are worthy comrade of mine.

Sure, I agree that China is far better than the US, and if this want a leftist forum I'd keep my mouth shut, but they have some serious flaws that really should keep them out of the "good" category unless you're shitposting imo

MLs are almost entirely too doomerpilled to effort post. There's a reason /r/GenZedong is so circlejerky

We mostly just see China as obv not as bad as the west, we realize literally no reddit poster will positively effect any CCP policy and at best will lead to more red scare, and we realize that 80% of the radlibs freaking out about China live in an actual fascist imperialist nightmare, maybe they should worry about that instead.

There's plenty to criticize China for but criticizing China will do literally zero good for the left.

Criticizing china can definitely do some good if it's in the correct venue (communists talking to other communists). I'd never hammer it home on reddit (even on the old sub), but as long as it's clear that one is not making criticisms from a liberal point of view, and the discussion isn't taking place in front of a large amount of liberals (e.g. chapo.chat, for now) then it's fair game imo. We can't allow institutions that we consider socialist to operate free of criticism. A big reason that China is worth discussing is to understand what and why they are doing certain things, and what actions a future socialist movement in another part of the world could take.

Eh, there’s a lot of unironic China good posting (not saying that’s necessarily a bad thing)

There's also that bunkerchan place, but I never liked the chan layout, personally, and they also still use certain "chan language" which is really really not great.

Yeah but whenever a China discussion starts there MLs get noisy. They're mostly correct, but it's uncomfortable for a lot of libs who might read it, not buy-in and then go tell their lib buddies how terrible they are for being neutral or pro China.

It’s not like we’re /r/FULL_COMMUNISM, /r/moretankiechapo or /r/sino. Most of the stuff so far is pretty tame.

Now, if you really wanna see something spicy, we could start Tiananmen Movement discourse.
