      Easier to get international media attention would be my first guess. At a BLM protest in a heavily Chinese-speaking area in NYC we had signs in both Chinese and English, the former for local residents and the latter for media coverage. Imagine it's the same idea here.

        Yep. That's the idea. Nothing puts our government in its place more than international embarrassment.

        Our media is trying to ignore these protests and some comrades are trying to get international media interested online
