"Would losing this cartoon mascot for children have been worth saving one million Iraqi lives?"

If you have to ask you're Central Park material

Would the end of Sonic be worth replacing capitalism with socialism or communism in your eyes?

We got some new fresh pasta

if capitalism was destroyed then sonic would still be a respected franchise cause all the garbage 3D cash grabs wouldn't exist

Sonic 2006 literally only exists as it does because management decided it needed to be on both PS3 and Wii, split the team up to do two different games upon learning it wouldnt work on both (taking much more senior people to the wii game in the process), then got money from xbox and told the already reduced team to do it on both systems despite PS3 and 360 having very different architecture. They also said it had to be out for the 15th anniversary and absolutely couldnt be delayed. They also had to have a demo of the xbox version for an xbox event, and made said demo a different branch of the game that had fixes for some of the games issues, but didnt have time to fold that branch back into the main build.

If we had socialism Sonic 2006 could have been entirely prevented.

i mean not to poopoo on them, but their team doesn't have a single game developer or programmer. its just a bunch of creatives and designers

Their full team isn't listed on the site, and those that are listed have all shipped multiple games. Their prospects are already miles ahead of a lot of new indie studios.

There's also the studio that made Dead Cells, Motion Twin.

The Motion Twin story is somewhat more complex because after Dead Cells got super popular they started a sister studio that isn't a co-op in order to expand further and keep development going, but they're still trying to maintain a lot of the ethos that inspired them to make Motion Twin a co-op in the first place. They cheekily named the sister studio Evil Empire, which seems like a rather tacit admission of their views on capitalism.

Under communism, new Sonic games have huge casts of characters, many of them lazy recolors. There are about 100 excellent new levels, and unlockable side stories full of even more levels, which are kind of trash. Everything is uncomfortably horny.

When communism is kind of like having out of the box mod support.

That response is much better than the ones I usually see on posts like this
