Hang on, I thought not like other girls meant 'tomboys' who were more into traditionally masculine stuff and didn't really like wearing dresses and that? Isn't it seriously insulting to nonbinary people to say that they're essentially rebranded tomboys? I mean sure, I imagine that some tomboys would have been nonbinary had it been a thing back when I was young but correct me if I am wrong there is a difference, right?
For a bunch of self proclaimed feminists they sure do like controlling and discriminating people based on gender.
There's a subset of them who are more like "I don't seek trouble, trouble seeks me" where it's more like, they're drama queens who always have to cast shade on other women. "All the other girls are *******, but not me."
I've encountered that type before.
But overwhelmingly, the women I've known who said they weren't like other girls, were tomboy types who felt shamed for not being "ladylike" enough when hanging out with other straight women.

I think the term “Not like other girls” refers specifically to women who put down other women. Like it’s similar to chuds calling people NPCs.
They’re the ones like “I don’t have any female friends, they’re too much drama.” Or “she wears short skirts, I wear t-shirts”.
My experience growing up was seeing this attitude more from cool girls and even pick-me’s than tomboys.
