Yeah, that’s what I figured. I would never dream of stealing from a coop, and I probably wouldn’t steal from a small business that I knew nothing about. But I’m not gonna feel any guilt over jacking a few energy bars from a big corporate grocery chain.
Just be careful , when I was growing up shoplifting was a slap on the wrist, so we did it all the time, often just for fun. But laws have changed since then and some stores aggressively prosecute. Do it if you absolutely need to but don't do it for a thrill or without thought
