      Cross posted.

I would probably make an effort to remember to do that if there were cough some sort of incentive like pts for doing so cough. Right now the only people with an incentive to crosspost out of place content in the catch-all "main" community are the owners of those respective communities. That's part of the reason karma on reddit works well, all the crossposting it incentivises users to do into the relevant similar communities.

There's the other advantage of not posting in c/main, which is that you avoid finding out about the drama that happened on discord

I think it's extremely naive to think that they don't work to generate activity you want people to do.

I don't REALLY care about them, but in a choice between taking the time to crosspost for no real gain and taking the time to crosspost for a fake perceived reward? The latter is more likely to have the outcome desired. And we do desire people crossposting, right?

The only people with an actual incentive currently are the community mods seeking to populate those comms. No incentive, nobody doing it. KiaKaha here could have hit the crosspost button to do it too but did a comment instead, bizarrely, which isn't necessarily a useful outcome either.

That’s a good point. Consider making this a Feedback post?
