This is almost the funniest thing Trump has ever done. It don't quite top the fast food buffet though that he set up for the college football team's white house visit.

That shit was funny. His sheepish grin. His arms spread wide in a gesture of welcome. A table full of trans fats and salt. It’s perfect

It was the funniest image of his entire presidency. When I first saw it, I thought it was photoshopped. It took me a few minutes to realize it was real. All the McDonalds, Burger King, Arbys and Wendys was so carefully divided and arranged LOL

Seeing a stack of 1 dollar McDonald's burgers on a gold platter and the contrast of that was just so fucking hilarious.

Abigail Adams was all right. No need to be dragging her into this.

Without knowing anything about her except that she was a US historical figure rich enough to own gold platters I can confidently say she was a genocidal fascist who either owned slaves or was best friends with people who did and deserves far worse than whatever dunks a commie shitpost forum can throw at her a century? after her death.

"Unlike Martha Washington, Abigail Adams opposed slavery and had favored its abolition in the early 1770s. While sympathetic to the slaves and the hardships they endured, "Lady Adams" was less compassionate toward the young nation's immigrant population."

Arright, you got me interested enough to google it.

Adams did not own enslaved people. Instead, the Adamses hired white and free African-American workers to provide these services. However, that did not mean that they avoided slavery altogether. While the Adamses opposed slavery both morally and politically, they tolerated the practice in their daily lives and they may have hired out enslaved African Americans, paying wages to their owners, to work in the Vice President’s and President’s House. ... Abigail finally came to the conclusion that she would only hire American-born servants and that enslaved African Americans were the most reliable of that group: “the chief of the Servants here who are good for any thing are Negroes who are slaves, the white ones are all Foreigners & chiefly vagabonds.”

-Top google result of "john adams slaves"

Not trying to be a know it all, I just found that on google. It's also literally all I read, so maybe the lady is still bad,

I got the quote from here , i'm not going to read it. If anyone does, i'd be interested in hearing about her whole deal.

Honestly the coolest thing a president has done. The kids probably loved it. Who in this country doesnt love eating absolute garbage? If Obama did it, people would love it.

The photo is a whole other thing though. Art.

Making it even more Trumpian was he did it for the champions of college football, which is the ultimate red state sport. A group of kids - mostly poor, southern and black - being led into the room by their white coach who is an anti-labor, vaguely racist dipshit.

The fast food party was easily the happiest Trump has been on any day of his presidency. Possibly his entire life.
