affluent Texas suburbs are perhaps THE beating heart of the Republican Party. I swear that the GOP and its media allies use this draw play of flipping Texas just to get the DNC to misallocate campaign resources there.
The 2018 midterms showed some promise, but unfortunately there are still areas in Texas where Republicans hold unique urban/suburban majorities found nowhere else in the country

It's decent for an American city, but it's par for the course in most European ones. I don't think that Americans realize just how bad their public transit is.
