Major concessions in a Bourgeois democracy don't come out of simple convenience for the Bourgeoisie. They come out of the threat of Revolution. The Senate will never go against a $2,000,000,000,000/year industry because people vooted a certain way.
Literally the only possible way they win the senate now after getting NC so wrong and somehow fucking up against Collins which still baffles me.
