The difference being that the fascists will have to basically be openly calling for terrorist attacks to be arrested while leftists will be arrested just for organizing protests where things get out of hand. The FBI and DHS are already focused on protesters and Trump utilized the NDAA which was passed by Obama. The Biden/Harris administration will push for an extreme bipartisanship law in hand with the GOP to try and stomp out protests. Wouldn't be shocked if it's declaring the filming of police officers to be illegal similar to what France did recently, or maybe it will be declaring ACAB hate speech ("attacks on police" are actually considered hate crimes in a few states now). Either way, yeah, they're going to escalate things.
