yea... fixating on trans people's genitals is gross as fuck. this isn't just hypersexualized advertising.

fine, I'll break it down, too. in addition to the genital fixation:

          1. mix it up implies gender is a frivolous choice.
          2. chromanticore is a reference to the mythical beast the manticore - the man-eater. this is a subtle tr*p meme.

and yes, there's a long history of trans women depicted as beasts. CDPR gets no passes because this is supposed to be a dystopia. this is transphobic on 3 counts.

this isn't sex sold for the benefit of trans people. this is a depiction of trans people used to sell sex to cis people. this is on the same level as Black bull imagery - we wouldn't hesitate to call that out as racist, even if it is a dystopia.

art doesn't have to reinforce systemic hierarchies in the real world - doing so is a choice made by the artist. criticizing that choice is fair game. you're giving the same "ahh, but you see, because of the lore..." defense people always use to defend shitty art. but real human beings made choices about what to depict in the art intended for consumption by other real human beings, who see the art and are informed by it.

also, why would art that dehumanizes us sell sex to trans people? what? we're people. we want to be treated like people.
