I recall that every hurricane to reach the carolina the biggest fear is those hog pools overflowing and polluting the rivers
I mean...the hog pools do overflow and pollute the rivers regardless; but nah the average rural North Carolinian is probably more worried about the dam near Raleigh being opened and causing the Neuse River to (more than it already does during a heavy rain) rise another 4ft.
