no, c/podcasts is 90% other podcasts.

After the vote to reinstate c/main, the only effect the whole thing ended up having was deleting c/traphouse.

I know some people here jerk off to the fact that they don't listen to the pod, but a lot of us still do.

Honestly? If they name the comm c/citationsneeded I'd be fine with that. Problem is a lot of the new libs wouldn't get it

It’s in the name. I guess we could sticky the Citations Needed SoundCloud page for them.

What’s your favorite episode? For me it’s the destroying the msnbc correspondent on why msnbc is trash for an hour straight while Adam had bronchitis.

Ep 61 what the hell is wrong with msnbc part II.

Neoliberal optimism episode is awesome. I’ll check out the DPRK episode.

that neolib episode is the ultimate fucking dunk on any /r/neoliberal poster, its wonderful. Just link them jason hickel and voila they have zero fucking argument. Neolibs refuse to defend china but when the only progress when it comes to eradicating poverty is from china they get fucking stuck.

Ill listen to episode 61 (and I guess part 1) tonight, thanks for the rec :heart-sickle:

What are they even talking about on Pod Save America these days?

Yes! Although perhaps this should be separate from a comm dedicated to discussing the podcast. r/BlackWolfFeed restricts posts to only Mary_Malloc's podcast links after all

I'd prefer !chapotraphouse since that's the full name of the podcast, but it shouldn't just be up to me.

!traphouse was originally intended as the comm for the podcast, but it became a shitposting comm. Nothing wrong with a shitposting comm, but the name chapotraphouse would make it more explicitly about the podcast.

The text at the top of the comm could be "chapo trap house is a podcast." Just like the description on the old sub.

I agree with Bill, I think it should be called !chapotraphouse to make its purpose clear. The old !traphouse confused me because I thought it was supposed to be about the pod.

Mary might be cool, I don't know, but like 90% of the people in that sub are garbage. Please don't bring them over here.

just make it /c/chapotraphouse and have a mod or two for redundant threads. If you need anyone just hmu cuz the_dunk_tank is pretty hands free when it comes to moddin so it aint gonna bog me down and i still suffer through the pod on a weekly basis because of brainworms

Plenty of new comms have been created on this site without a vote. It doesn't make much sense to leave the fate of a potential comm up to people who won't end up subbing to it, anyway. If there's enough interest for an active userbase and a moderation team, it should be created.
