Zero books is a subsidiary of a larger publisher, I doubt there's that much money in it.
Well, technically it's an imprint. John hunt publishing overall is also a pretty small publisher.
Oh also I don't think he's rich. Lain has primarily been a moderately (as in he made a living off it) successful fiction writer for the last couple decades and is the publishing manager for zero. I've heard his stuff on the fiction end is pretty decent actually but haven't read any of it.

he's an old guy that really wants to be a hip young guy. i find him charmingly sincere, even if he sometimes loses the plot a bit.
