it’s like 3 am here rn but just wanted to say why the fuck is it so hard to find a job like how many fucking places do i have to apply at before i become the joker
edit: also is there a mobile app or smth for this place bc the website isn’t too bad but half the reason i’m not here is that i can just click one button on my phone and suddenly i’m on like r/shitliberalssay or something like that so
There should be a way to add the site to your Home Screen as an app icon but it’ll just work as a shortcut to the site. That’s what I always use.
Its going alright. Having a lazy morning and doing laundry, playing underrail, and petting my kitty. I'm pretty sure there's some important things im supposed to get to today, but im not in any rush to remember what they were right now.

No app that i know of unfortunately, but im not active in the greater Lemmyverse/discord, so there may be something in the pipe im not aware of.
yea at this point i’m basically pretending i have nothing to do and just not doing it
i finished high school in like november so i’m literally looking for anywhere that will take me. i had a job that i literally lasted 2 weeks at bc they rostered me for 9 hours doing kitchen hand work, which was hard enough, and then i had to work 2 hours overtime for each of those shifts. i worked 33 hours in 3 days but handed in my weeks notice after the second lmao
the app thing is fine honestly, would like to see one at some point but i’m on my pc like constantly nowadays bc it’s not like i have anything else to do

For real though, first entering the job market sucks, my sympathies. You'll find something. Sounds like you've already figured out some of your boundaries, which is a damn good thing, never let a job cheat you or push you too hard.
yeah i figured it wasn’t worth it, getting an actual decent paycheck once it was all done was very nice as well tho
Overtime is a Faustian bargain, I've got 10hrs/wk baked into my schedule.
It makes me hate my job and is slowly eating away at my sleep schedule, but i can afford a car and occasional drugs. About equal on the scale really.
yeah fuck that honestly, at least there’s the extra money coming in but i think we all wish we were cuban at this point

Seems that way unfortunately. Sorry if I mislead, I use android for everything (am poor) so it never occurs to me there's another OS out there.
