not against you personally, but i find it annoying when i see people criticizing other socialists/leftists whatever. like, sure, maybe jacobin prints cringe sometimes, but the amount of not-cringe they print, the podcasts etc it's so much more. it's very easy to criticize, lot more difficult to run a leftist magazine for a decade in a country like america.
It’s part of the pipeline sure, but I think anyone who seriously considers themselves a socialist/communist knows better. Or at least consumes it with a large pinch of salt.

i can't think of a bigger waste of time for a "socialist" activity than reading a magazine from a country where the left isn't even that big of a player in the struggle for power. like why.

They have some decent international coverage, if you can read past some of the cringe anti-communism. Like there’s really in depth reporting on Mexican, Spanish, Italian politics that you wont find on many other English news sites.
