Guy has a lot of free time for someone who owes me 2000 bucks. Maybe he should be using all this free time he has to Uber or Door Dash to start raising the funds he owes me. I hear he loves a good side hustle!

In a brighter future, this is like one of those sketch c*medies that you see in SNL or porn acting. Like obviously the exuberant politician is pulling one over on some exaggeratedly haggard common person. Maybe a 400k/yr liberal joins in and is moved by the ceremony.

It feels like the new gold standard for how depraved the response to tragedy is. Clearly there needs to be literal dollars invested into communities, but they're just doing glorified entertainment instead.

not "2000 dollar checks"— you misheard him. Mr. Biden was saying "2000 dollar wax". here is the lighting of your luxury gold dust candle, as promised.

gotta love how it's "upcoming." we haven't even got there yet! Just accepting it's gonna happen, not even attempting to do anything about it.

During the election wasn't Joe talking about how we need a several week shutdown to get covid under control? Don't get me wrong, I never believed he would, just sucks that so many are dying because of this oligarchy of a government

Mika Brzezinski was saying this morning what a stark contrast this was to the previous president's handling of the pandemic.
