      American foreign policy is horrendous 'cause not only will America come to your country and kill all your people, but what's worse, I think, is that they'll come back 20 years later and make a movie about how killing your people made their soldiers feel sad.

      Americans making a movie about what Vietnam did to their soldiers is like a serial killer telling you what stopping suddenly for hitchhikers did to his clutch.

      About a month ago I was talking to my parents about Vietnam's covid response.

      They did not know that the country has almost 100 million people living there (they thought it was like 20k?!?,) did not know that the U.S. did not win the Vietnam War, did not know that Vietnam wasn't under direct U.S. control, and didn't know that Vietnam has a Communist government.

      After learning all this they said "Well if that's all true, what was even the point of the war?"

      Yes mom, that's an excellent question.
