I just thought he was like, not dumb. He appears intelligent and able to hold multiple conflicting thoughts in his head at any one time, but somehow TC is a socialist because he doesn't like Amazon. This quote really got me:

“I think the vision is, you know, you have this kind of right wing populism, which really is socialism, that says we should close our borders, not allow unconstrained immigration, and then take better care of our own working class people, and not allow this kind of transnational, global, corporatist elite to take everything for themselves under the guise of neoliberalism,” Greenwald said.

Why are you doing virgilposting when Bad Faith has platformed GG multiple times now.

You know how the right used to* say socialism is bad because Nazi Germany was socialist? We now have direct examples in our present day that clearly demonstrate how the same word can be erroneously used to describe both Tucker Carlson and Ilhan Omar.

Buy what that also means is that we are one step closer to our deserved Marjorie Taylor-Green girl boss presidency. Feels bad man.

        *"Enlightened" conservatism probably still does.

Not only is Tucker not a socialist, he’s not even a Nazbol/strasserite. I’ve never heard him advocate for a single left leaning policy. I think he approved of the Bernie/AOC’s proposed credit card interest rate cap?

Tucker Carlson is smarter politically than Glenn Greenwald. When Greenwald first went on Carlson's show people were defending it saying that Greenwald was getting the message out to people who would have never heard it otherwise, but the opposite was true. Carlson was using Greenwald to expand his base. He wants to bring in more fringe independent-minded people by posing as an anti-establishment figure, and he uses Greenwald to give legitimacy to that image.

Everything I see about Tucker makes me think he is one of the smartest people in politics. I would even say it's likely that he becomes President (but it might be a decade or two)

He’s the most dangerous, despicable person on Fox News. He is well aware of the conservative victim complex and wants to get in his viewers heads’ that whenever someone condemns White supremacists, they’re condemning them. He does it very well

What’s the basis behind this line of thinking? I’ve never watched his show and always gathered my opinion of him from sound bites and the only conclusion I’ve been able to reach is that he’s just another bad faith imbecile.

I mean, he's always been a mixed bag. But the whole "Exposing horrors of US Imperialism" shit was genuinely good and often what he took flak for.

Of late, he's been doing the FOX News junket ostensibly to keep getting exposure for his real-ass fucking journalism. But because they're his only ride into town, and a lot of Tucker fans have been cross pollinating into his feed, and because Social Media is a rat race where you pander to the most terminally online people imaginable to get ahead...

Basically, Tucker stuck his dick in crazy one too many times. And now he's got the rot.

Does liberal mean “someone I don’t like” on this site? Libs are annoying dumbfucks but ask the average lib and they’ll tell you they hate Tucker Carlson. Greenwald is part of the weird Jimmy Dore contingent on the left.

You are talking about "liberal" in a colloquial sense where it basically just means "Democrat." Even Tucker Carlson is a liberal in the sense that people on this site generally mean, which is the historical movement that supplanted feudalism and is interested in protecting itself from being supplanted by communism and is the hegemonic belief throughout America.
