Every single one of Neoliberal Egg's ideas are like, "what if we took a socialist approach to a problem like housing and tweaked it just enough so that several corporations could still extract massive profits from the working class 🧐"

Nah he absolutely belives this. He realized that small business can be even more exploitative than big business and as a result licked big business' boot. He's a liberal capitalist and liberal capitalism leads to corporate consolidation and oligopolies.

This is what every neoliberal believes, most just don't realize it.

Ideology wont allow them to believe there is another way.

Something something cushy, well-paying wage slavery at google that comes with emloyee gymnasium, foodcourt, cinema, and massage parlor (but you are feudally bound to never leave the office property) vs 12 hours straight in the rank cespool that is larry the neighorhood kulak's puppy mill with no benefits for minimum wage. Choose your preffered style of dystopia plz.

Extremely charitable interpretation: he means state-owned franchises providing a public housing model, which frankly doesn't sound that bad. But then he could've just used the phrase "public housing".

I agree that there are certain things that would be easier if we only had 7 landlords in the country :mao-shining:

No bro, it's totally not just feudalism. See you're signing a voluntary contract with another consenting party, which means by definition that everyone benefits. Anyone who doesn't want to sign the contract can simply choose to not live. That's just the miracle of the free market bro.

It would be better only in that it would be easier to figure out who is in charge of each, track them down, and... something something something Minecraft.
