I sooo want to just nuke windows on my laptop, I hate it. Besides I mostly use it for Firefox and IDEs so getting used to Linux would be a breeze. I'm actually looking forward to fiddling around with it. Only thing holding me back from installing Linux rn is finding and backing up my data. And deciding whether to dual boot or just throw away windows entirely.

I suggest not to get bogged down reading and re-reading each chapter till you internalise it but instead go thru chapters 1-7 not too deeply first and then do a second pass(and maybe a third ymmv) while paying more attention.
