Bill Gates vs. Warren Buffett, who will survive a day picking lemons in the desert heat, and who will pick more lemons
Tune in next week to Find out
this will be television after the revolution
we force the billionaires to do manual labor and fake drama on a shitty reality tv show instead of gulag
I remember when something like this was proposed on AskReddit, and the top answers were instant promotions to management because of their work ethic. Absolutely baffling bootlicking
Just World Fallacy
"If the people on top aren't actually superior then my whole world is a lie."
the top answers were instant promotions to management
What does this mean?
"They're such good workers that they'd just work really hard and get promoted out of manual labor immediately."
Oh. Yuck.
I thought she was saying that the redditors with the top answers were given promotions to management [at Kohls?], because I read too literally. Or because I'm higher than I realize.
It was surreal. It kinda felt more like describing supernatural beings than actual people, as though Jeff Bezos has enough capacity for manual labour and bootlicking ability to become a shareholder. Like, what if Zeus a casual at McDonald's?
Those on top with the power to shape their own image have always portrayed themselves as superior and deserving. The pharaohs literally claimed to be gods. Why else would they get such elaborate tombs built in their honor?
Oh the Egyptian afterlife was a gated community where if you were poor you just went straight to hell
Oh, the scenario was about fast food work. It was a surreal thread to read.
I find it hard to believe those commenters have ever worked in there lives
Don't tell them. Part of the plot would be the suspense of not knowing how long they'll take to find out.
I think theres at least a couple shows with this type of premise but they all are meant to make rich psychos look relatable and chill. ie Undercover Billionaire, Undercover boss, anything Mike Rowe
"Well this has been an exhausting day but I can't wait to leave this ranch and burn this suit."
"Leave?"
