I don’t even make $14/hr :agony-deep:
EDIT: thanks for all the suggestions of sabotage but I sent an email to my union instead :iww:
Bathroom breaks aren’t breaks from work.
Why not though?
Dealing with their need to piss and shit is a cost of having employees. It's not a "break". It's baked into the basic production process.
I might have phrased it wrong. I take extra breaks by going to the bathroom. I don't even have to poop as I type this.
dehumanizing as fuck
god I can't wait for everything to collapse
lol my school did this, required someone to physically unlock the door for you and wait outside too
if you did that today, the vice president would send your parents to prison
My middle school did this shit too
Still kind of shook from the time I got yelled at for going to the bathroom during lunch, when they were left unlocked so kids could use it and wash their hands
It was amazing when I realized that the entirety of the school process is something I don't want to do anyway. Like, the worst they can do is give you a day or two off. My parents had no issue with me flagrantly ignoring arbitrary rules so they really had no actual leverage against me
Lockpocking lawyer here.
Buy an Identical lock, then repin it with dummy pins. So while it will lock any key will unlock it. If you being a small powered screwdriver this could be done in under a minute.
Failing that a bump key will work on whatever cheapass bullshit lock a company that wouldndo thsi would install
I dunno if this is possible as I don’t believe in technology, but fill the lock with liquid cement.
idk what brainwashing is but you guys need your brains cleaned
oh thnx
edit; what do you think of my art? https://hexbear.net/post/118855
In CA by law they cannot limmit your bathroom breaks to rest and meal pwriod. But enforcement and evaluation of that statue can be kinda diffi ukt specifically I think
Def not in CA and did some legal digging. I learned you can fuck with bathroom breaks a lot - even outright fire someone - with no consequences. :amerikkka:
Idk if anyone said this yet, but lockpicking is a rather fascinating (and can be fairly academic if you make it) hobby, and most mass manufacture locks are shockingly easy to bypass with a simple pick and tension wrench
Edit: yeah filling the lock with cement or some other sabotage is probably actually a better idea. I think getting caught with a pick is a BIG no-no. Still I encourage everyone to pirate some lockpicking tutorial videos to check it out because locks really are pretty interesting
Had a workplace completely split up over this. It wasn't even management just rank and file boot lickers
Press the key into a block of clay, make a copy of the key with some kind of epoxy, file a blank key down until it matches the epoxy copy.
Alternately, just take a picture of the key - there are services that can copy keys based on the image if it's a common key. You also might be able to just buy the key online if the lock is cheap and shitty enough:
