The only way to end the pandemic at this point is to lock everyone inside their homes for 1-2 months, any unhoused people get locked in one of the millions of vacant homes too (and get to keep them of course), mandatory vaccinations including holding down and injecting any fuckers that resist, only people allowed to leave home are TRULY essential workers like medical staff and supply line workers like truckers. Not stupid hit like gamestop or dunkin donuts. Pay everyone a weekly flat rate for staying indoors, include a bonus for willingly submitting to the vaccines. Have biweekly deliveries of rice and dried beans, canned goods, etc, and weekly deliveries of fresh produce and bread. Have a dedicated team of remote people to check in with everyone every few days. Anyone that tries to start shit gets put in solitary until quarantine is done.
