The wife is out for the weekend, and she hates cilantro and Nicholas Cage Movies. I’m starting off with “Leaving Las Vegas” I’ve recently seen The Rock, Con Air, and Face/Off. What do you have? Indicate if it’s good, bad, or accidentally funny.

mandy - extremely slow paced action horror with classic/peak nic cage rage. i love it but the first hour is extremely slow.

colour out of space - lovecraftian horror with nic cage as the dad of a family. he starts off as a p normal dad but gets unhinged and unhinged nic cage is always great. i love the movie but its definitely a little funny/silly sometimes

pig - nic cage is a former chef who loves his truffle pig. its not an action movie, its just a drama movie, and i LOVE nic cage in this as well

    Bad Lieutenant: good

Vampire's Kiss: accidentally funny, or good if you're a real cagehead

    Seconding Mandy for Good

Matchstick Men was always my favorite. Playing a twitchy con artist works for him.

    Between Worlds, .

Weird, slow, supernatural ish, with uncomfortable sex/romance scenes with a teenage character (but I want to believe that it was intended to be cringy). Skip that one unless you're feeling like you need to spend time staring into the abyss.

Lord of War is kind of all three at once.

The Weather Man is bafflingly bad, not really entertaining but makes you question what they were thinking the whole time

World Trade Centre - He plays a 9/11 hero. It's pretty bad from my recollection, tragedy porn basically

Season of the Witch - Despite the cool name and co starring Ron Perlman is boring as hell. The studio also changed the ending in post so instead of something that makes sense that had a cool animatronic demon they fight PS2 bad guys and it makes no sense at all

Pay the Ghost - Also has an amazing title but is actually the most boring movie ever made. It's really boring

Knowing- Really fucking weird. Not really sure where to place it
