I like when games have puzzles as mini games

(except dial of the old ones, that one sucks)

I just look up the answers for these. I don't want to do puzzles when I play Total War. And I like puzzles.

Why are two of the wrong answers the right number but wrong color instead of being the other numbers?

I hope the ads for this game is 100% just this puzzle and the real game is completely different 99% of the time.

Shout out to "Space Rangers" for having some really difficult puzzles and almost no wiki's or gamefaq.com guides to help.

I prefer the dial ones cause I can get them a lot faster then the sudoku ones. I'm not above save scumming for any of them though.

How the fuck do you mentally figure out the dials? I've never been able to do it. Is my brain just bad? :meow-tableflip:

I have good spacial reasoning, also had a job doing imagery analysis so I've been trained. It's really not your brain being bad, most people have trouble with it. The Sudoku ones suck for me though, I can figure them out but its not worth it because of how long it takes. The first step is to mentally rotate the inner dial to the face up position then try rotate the outer dial till you can get all three colors lined up on the inner one, even if you're not great at that step it should give you a general idea of what symbols are possible, then look at the choices and see if any of them match your possibilities.

It's a sudoku, there can't be any repeat numbers or colors in any row or column. 2 above the '?' has to be blue, which means 1 above the '?' has to be yellow, which makes the '?' red.

There's arguments to be made for, like, all of these options.
