Same, the entirety of what I know about the show comes from memes here and in the old sub

I stopped around the time the BLM protests started. It felt like there was actually something serious going on and the cth hosts were just fucking around with making fun of movies or whatever. I was also kinda tired of the obvious low effort. When COVID started and they got a studio they talked big about how they were going really try out some new ideas and they sounded motivated only to turn around and continue doing the same shit. And of course A*ber's class reductionism and attitude of "every liberal person is a PMC" really turned me off.

idk he talked at various times about how he felt they weren't well structured or something and he tried to write a book instead. maybe the spiritual successor is Hinge Points

I still listen to it. It's just leftish slop that's amusing. People always invested too much in the podcast and got too mad when it didn't live up to their expectations. Bring back Amber though

Matt is fun and surprisingly insightful to listen to. He's like your drunk uncle at thanksgiving, only Marx-pilled.

The best thing they could've done when they had Zizek on was to let him speak on and on with barely any intervention, and then when Matt intervened for 5 seconds, Slovenian Raccoon daddy said that he loved his thinking.

Same here, It just seemed a bit pointless, I barely have time to listen to stuff so there's a lot more I'd rather spend my time on. Glad the site finally broke away in the end.

Never stopped. But I prefer Citations Needed and to some degree TrueAnon because I identify with Brace's (often politically incorrect) sense of humor.

Shortly after super tuesday. I tried to get back into it a little while after that, but some of the stuff they said about the uprisings last year kept me away for good.

I've not a single clip watched. I still have no idea for sure who's on it.

never really started. Listened to two episodes way before I really knew about the sub, mainly cuz i wanted to listen to granddad pisspig talk about being in Rojava. tried one more episode and then never went back.

I am not really a podcast person. I like Citations Needed and a few episodes of Behind the Bastards.

and my friends have this super queer Goosebumps podcast that I like because it's like the opposite of parasocial? like i actually know them and live in their town so they're just my friends that I get to engage with in another way.
