No. I believe that the only way to make the world and my own life better are to fight for communism and put a reasonable amount of time into organizing. I have been claiming to want to organize “after Covid” for years now and the truth is that I don’t see a path to me to meaningfully contribute to labor organizing or to working class movements in general. I don’t make enough money to donate to international causes. I don’t talk to anyone at work. The greatest skill I have is programming but can’t bring myself to do anything with it.

I don’t know if all of this makes me a “bad person”, but I am definitely a PMC Karen and have an unproductive amount of guilt about it

The good thing about that subjective thought is that you are not alone and there is a multitude of people who, if there is organization, movement and situation will join and be integral parts of whatever happens. So your reflection actually implies there is a good potential for us that is just dormant right now :)

Of course organizing or being part of something before that is nice as well, but it often needs something that happens to condense new social relations between you and others in it.

I really wanted to be, but then I got chronic depression and personal development became basically impossible.

    answering no is cringe

you can construct your own morality so the answer should always be yes

I think it's best to not pat yourself on the back too much about being a good person, lest you get arrogant about it. I try to b a good person, it's an ongoing process as all things in life are, and something I strive towards, but not something you can just rest your laurels on as being 'complete'
