It wasn't just the terrible trans joke, they had a long history of inappropriate humor, constantly toeing the line and seemingly incapable of being sincere. The modteam was sick of it and the shitty joke in the middle of a transphobe purge was just the final straw.

Based_Ball was a very active poster at the start and became a mod because I guess he was very active lmao. He then made light of BrookeBaybee's "I love my trans comrade" post by posting a satire version of it. He then got banned because of it.
