I was one of the beta testers of this website and was one of the first users, but ya'll couldn't stop fighting with each other so I left around a year ago and honestly forgot about this website. I remembered today and thought it was a good time to make a comeback.

I'm Iraqi, I have tens of dead relatives who died in the period of 1991 to today due to American hands. My people were subjected to a horrible period of sanctions, invasion and occupation that killed over a million. Entire cities were destroyed, entire families stopped existing and entire lives were wiped away. To this day, we're called terrorists, uncivilized and savages. Seeing all this Ukraine sympathy and outpouring of support from the entire western world made me lose it yesterday and I started uncontrollably sobbing. I don't how to explain the feeling, but I felt like I was an orphan or homeless in a strange way. The world has spat in our faces and completely dehumanized us, and now today it's dancing on our corpses while convincing us that the events in Ukraine aren't miles worse than what they did to us. May God or whatever is up there forever curse these wicked American and European devils.

I often think about whole familial lines that got wiped out in Iraq. Solidarity comrade and I remember you from back around the start of the site.

The feeling is terrible. Americans will tell you that they’ve changed and that they can worry about more than one problem simultaneously. But the truth is they won’t. They’ll call you all sorts of names and insults if you dare bring up america’s sins and hypocrisy because “now is not the right time.” It’s never the right time. They’re going to get away with it, but I won’t feel sorry for anything that happens to them. Whatever this country has faced, it’s only a fraction of what’s been inflicted on others. 3000 dead from a terrorist attack 20 years ago? That’s a shame. But millions have died and millions will continue to die because of that. America’s tragedies mean nothing to me anymore.

Yeah I am black pilled after this. If you want to know why the world sucks ass then here is a summary: skin color.

My mind is literally broken. Everything on reddit is about solidarity with Ukraine. Where was this in Iraq, Libya, Yemen, Syria?

I have no faith in anything. Meanwhile the US demonizes China using Muslim genocide as an argument? Is that not like Nazis condemning, I dunno, Croatia (or any other country that jumped on the holocaust as a chance to be psychos) for killing Jews as a pretext to fuck with Croatia?

All the love to you brother. This strikes such a chord. Fuck their hypocrisy and their moral grandstanding.

probably won't help, but russians are as dehumanized as iraq was and absolute horrendous shit would happen if the us decided to kick shit there too, it's just the whole predicament of fighting for "human rights", you can't consider your enemies human or the whole thing wouldn't make sense (see also korea, vietnam, yemen, somalia, lybia...). Here's to hoping that China wins this one

Nothing but solidarity, while I've been priveleged enough to not feel the brunt of imperialism anywhere near as much as you, I also wrote my thoughts here

Welcome home comrade, glad to have you back :stalin-heart: I'm pleased to report that things have definitely gotten a lot calmer since the early days.

I can't imagine how awful that must feel watching the anglosphere rub it in everyone's faces how much sympathy they're capable of mustering (but only for white europeans) when they still haven't shown an ounce of remorse for doing far worse to your family, your homeland, and people who look like you. Death to America doesn't even begin to cover it. Love and solidarity to you :heart-sickle:
