this is legit why I get the "de-censored" mods (swastika mods) for hoi4 and the like. Makes defeating them that much sweeter.

pretty sure the Clear Sky faction is backed by the western imperialists pig dogs. And there's always plenty of Mercenaries hired by rich fucks to gun down.

I need to play these games, they look pretty damn fun. I got Shadow of Chernobyl years and years ago and never touched it.

IIRC there's a standalone mod that combines all the games? I think? I don't think you even need any of the game to play it

The mod I speak of is Anomaly but I dunno how much it actually does wrt to what I said it does lol

There's Call of Chernobyl, which technically isn't standalone since it "requires" Call of Pripyat to be installed, except you can just disable the check it makes and play it anyway without CoP.

It combines the maps from all 3 games (taking the Clear Sky versions for ones which are present in both SoC and CS), plus some ones that were cut from SoC, and an original one made by the modders. It only has the maps however, not the actual story content of the games.

There's also a whole host of other mods which were developed from it, adding even more stuff (since CoC by itself is quite barren in terms of content, it was meant more as a base for other mods). Anomaly's the most popular one, but there's also a few others.

It's a great game that still holds up and is unmatched in atmosphere. That's why there is still an enthusiastic community for this game even 15 years after the game was released.

They're notoriously buggy and weird, but they're really unique and the premise of hunting down little magical trinkets in irradiated marshes is just cool. There really aren't many other games like it. I love how tense it can get when you're trying to do something like sneak past a helicopter or get into a building to shoot some guys and you've got barely enough bullets to do it.

Lots of high intensity gunfights from long distances. Lots of running around in pitch blackness with spooky sounds all around you. They're all really good.

this is the only one I have. If there is anything in higher quality, it's probably languishing about in some russian forum, untranslated
