Who would talk about unions on your company's monitored app? Plz don't.
So like, I have this plan to take down Hexbear and get all the users arrested by the FBI, right? We're gonna do our part for our country and shut down these commies!
If that’s your primary means of communication, still have to be able to say, “I want to talk with you about some issues at work. If you’ve got time, I’d like to meet up and talk over coffee. My number is xxx-xxx-xxxx.” Sometimes it’s that easy, but for a lot of people that’s not enough info. The warehouses who are already unionizing are well past this step, but most of the company isn’t and Amazon’s union busting can easily get organizers pegged as harassers and trouble makers, which makes that even more difficult
There's way better ways available to employees. We have an internal company directory available to anybody above tier 1. This is what amazonians united uses for sentiment mapping and to verify employment.
Oh, I meant just in general. I know Amazonians United has their shit on lock
someone who doesn't have other means of communicating with their coworkers
Wait if "I don't care" is banned, how are managers supposed to reply?!
amazon gonna come up with it's own newspeak soon which is mandatory and the only way employees may communicate with each other.
Wow, good thing we have :freedom-and-democracy: otherwise this would smell a lot like :1984: for some reason
Banning the word "ethics" is a very, "Are we the baddies?" moment.
Looking at the list, I think they like did a sentiment analysis on posts talking about work, and banned any words that frequently appeared in a negative sentiment posts. Like I don't think any human would relate some of these to being pro-union. Also you can depend on Amazon to outsource this to an algorithm they didn't put too much time into, lol.
Banned words:
This is dumb
I finally know how chuds feel when they can't say they're favourite slurs.

time to just start organizing "onions" instead of unions I guess
