The democrats electoral strategy is to get every one of those 300 people to vote for them.

I thought people like her had tricks to pump those numbers so it shows up in the best sellers list, like having some places buy it in bulk or whatever. Maybe everyone forgot to tell her?

Fewer than three hundred? I'm not American, but wasn't this woman somewhat regularly visible on mainstream television? How can she have this little of a following? The Chapos could probably sell more books.

The Chapos could probably sell more books.

Their book was a brief new york times best seller so they definitely did

Her previous books were boosted to the NYT list by bulk orders from rich chuds, I guess she's lost enough relevance that now even they don't bother with her.

      She was on The View.

How can she have this little of a following?

      I wonder about that too.

The Chapos could probably sell more books.

      Surely within a few days.

Republican parry hates McCain now. They aren’t going to buy the book or the beat of the dude Trump mocked relentlessly.

And the ribbing that family got pushed then so far out of the conservative line light that moderate conservatives don’t have to pretend they like her anymore.

Like with any creative work, the amount of attention / money you receive has absolutely nothing to do with either the amount of work you put in or with the quality of the final product. That shit is at least 95% luck. There's just too much of it, you cannot form a niche striking enough to stand out on its own merits, you must get lucky. Someone wrote a shitty AU twilight bdsm fanfiction and then changed the names and published it as a standalone book and not only have you heard of it, it was one of the most well known books of its decade and got a movie adaptation. You can write the best work of literature humanity has ever seen but it'll still probably lose to 50 shades lmao

She left the View last year and has largely vanished. Conservatives have despised the McCains since 2008. Her only national following was from liberals hand wringing about why she's actually one of the good Republicans and everyone needs to adore and respect her...I guess only because her dad once said Obama is not actually in Al-Qaeda. A particular strain of liberals are pain piggies who love when a mean conservative tells them to move closer to the center or else she'll get mad and leave, and then oh no maybe she'll take a lot of hypothetical votes with her noooo come baaack we'll be good liberals just for you Mrs. McCain please call us radicals again please

She's not on TV now so no one cares anymore

A lot of times political campaigns will buy them with donor money as a means of kicking cash directly to candidates.

I think it was Herman Cain who passed himself $7M by turning donor contributions into book sales.

Sam Seder actually spoke about this and he said that these books will be sent to old folks homes and be given out as gifts for “contributions” to a political campaign. The problem Meghan has, is that the Democrats don’t give two shits about her and Republicans don’t even know who she is. Then again, hopefully she has a reality check that no one gives a shit about her. But she’s also stupid.
