Speaker Pelosi landing in Taiwan to support their democracy, despite repeated warnings from Xi Jinping, is exactly the kind of energy we need right now.

I don't get why Langley is so lazy here. Reminds me of the SOScuba tweets that were also identical with hundreds of accounts that have varying profile pics (old guys, middle aged women, young women, flags, truck sunglasses guys, etc)

Honestly I imagine bc it’s less work. Why bother libs literally do not care. I’ve seen this exact situation play out so many times now, this kind of image will move around leftist spheres and nothing will come of it. If you bring it up to libs they’ll say you’re a conspiracy theorist or if they believe it’s happening it’s a seeseepee fals flag or something to make america look bad and it contributes to getting the ball rolling on a narrative that libs will pick and do the work for them in no time

Pelosi's move was effective when you see shit like this. It puts the onus on China to do something that I doubt it will risk doing, considering how intertwined it still is with the western world. This just means the info war on amerikkkans is going great because any outcome in this instance will either make China look weak with its posturing, or if China does do something, a case for military action presents itself. It's the same disinfo catch-22 that presented itself with Russia and Ukraine

you already see the parenti moment with the second type of bot post:

"chinese people are starting to believe Xi is a paper tiger and he will be couped if he doesn't do anything"

cant have it either way :parenti:

Could easily create a huge surge of domestic support for expanding that trade relationship in China too. They love tobacco and they love having stuff from the country that's seen as best at a thing (e.g. Australian wool), pushing a cultural obsession with Cuban cigars as a simultaneous symbol of communist patriotism and personal status would be the easiest thing PRC's propaganda ministry could ever do.

Did you guys read her wapo oped on why she's visiting Taiwan? Her comments on Taiwan are accurate (especially regarding China's statements on Taiwan) but then she chained it into CIA fake news about China (hk, Uyghurs). I told you guys the CPC should have changed course on Taiwan back in the 50's. It's a weak spot that they're factually wrong about.

The real news is reinforcing the truthiness of the fake news.

by "supporting their democracy" liberals mean supporting an anticommunist government who are still upset about the chinese civil war.

yeah i can see why the PRC isn't too happy with pelosi's visit.

    support their democracy

You keep using that word :inconceivable:

"...of only one thing we may be sure: no matter what form of government we live under in the future, it will be called democracy."
