there was also an embargo section that justified sanctions by the US 🙃

It's always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, always, 100% pure projection

Just the phrase "compliance training" makes my skin crawl. It strikes me as a corporatized and clunky version of mind control/conditioning.

Most of it is literally just so the corporation can weasel out of lawsuits i.e. "we give all our associates diversity training so if a supervisor said something horribly racist to a subordinate that's all on him, not the corporation".

When I worked at Home Depot one of the training videos was about handling a workplace shooter. Another fun thing I learned was that you can walk into Home Depot and take whatever you want and the staff can't try to stop you. People used to do that shit all the time. It was hilarious

Most retail stores forbid their employees from physically restraining shop lifters due to insurance. But places like Home Depot (in some areas at least) will have third party security or even off duty cops, and you know they’re itching to beat someone down.

REGIONAL SECURITY SPECIALISTS, the best and brightest, a tactical corporate strike force that makes the hordes of lazy protesters tremble in their boots.

Can't wait to see the US collapse into a series of corporations functioning as regional warlords; with their blue polo/khaki pant/tac vest clad security forces waging war on refugees and rival corporations.

This could easily be the starting mission of a 90's point and click adventure set in a dystopian world.
