Some years ago, I witnessed a deer galloping by the road and mindlessly turn headfirst into traffic, getting struck by a car. Myself and another onlooker stopped by the side of the road and stood helplessly as it was in its death throes, and eventually, nothing. A cop stopped by, threw me some gloves, and asked if I would mind helping her move the carcass off the road. As soon as we touched it, the deer burst to life, air galloped on its side for a split-second, and finally croaked. It was a pretty scarring experience.
In a morbid way, reading this made me laugh and feel better.

It was so bad in the run up to 2016. The day that Hillary lost, it was like fresh fucking air. The shock of Trump's win forcing libs to stay offline a couple days to deal with that and the end of whatever astroturfing campaign - from Clinton's camp and Trump's camp - made it usable for about 5 days.

It takes literally two seconds to learn that "high crimes" does not mean "crimes, but worse", but instead "abuse of station/dereliction of duty". There's no debate, this is just what words mean. Yet these galaxybrains always give the out "but it's not a crime (in the sense that you couldn't bring them to criminal court over it)". How can you be both a wonkbrained policy dork and a Trump-obsessed lib while failing to recognize that this is a meaningless distinction to draw?
I think the people who would use the “not a crime” defense are not the people who want Trump impeached.
