      sure, tho again even in LatAm it's a very contested issue (mostly cus we live in very conservative societies). You're better off asking queer-nb latinx about this, tho seeing all the misinformation and stupidity, I might need to make a little thread detailing this better. I'll let ya know when it's ready.

        Well my Latin friends/family are a mix of communists and religious conservatives so I should get a variety of opinions (one of them praised Cuba and Fidel in a video they sent me supportive of LGBT and non binary people's rights, the other person is an ultra conservative Christian). Thanks for the response

          We still exist though. And as I said, I can understand having reservations about if we should use latinx-latin@-latine, but I refuse to reject inclusive language completely to not inconvenience socially conservative people.

If you wanna have a convo about what's the best way to say latinx, feel free to discuss it w-respect with feminist/queer progressive groups, but you'll have to accept that inclusive language is not staining The Sacrosant Spanish Language first.

Only thing that matters now to remind everyone: This is not "crackers and rich kids", it's socially conservative and/or ignorant people trying to push the good 'ol "PROGRESSIVE POLITICS ARE BEING PUSHED DOWN OUR THROATS!!!                           This constructions supersede yours because yours is a forced binary on people, who thankfully have started to move past forced binaries. Maybe you can peddle this crap on the right, but on the left, there's only so much "bourgeois" and "colonial" you can pepper about in your speech before people start picking up on your bullshit, just like we're struggling so it happens in here too.

                              non-binary people, women, queer people, take your pick. fuck your grammar, language is a social construct. finally, you're once again confusing two debates (should we have inclusive language for people who don't want forced binary to represent them vs. should that way to address them be with latin, latin@, latine or latinx) to disregard both the alternatives AND the inclusivity. In the name of "real" inclusiveness which is... telling people that your forced binary language is good enough for them and they shouldn't change it because... "authenticity" and conspiracy theories or something.

          Unfortunately, latinamerican communists (if by communist we mean Marxists) are rather socially conservative. At least in my country. Good to see some exceptions, like you mention tho.

            lots of woke marxists around universities, especially younger generations but anyone under 40 i expect to be marxist and thats a looot of our population
