Never trust the imperialcoretariat. Hopefully BMF can ridicule you PMC soy-facing fascists in a post soon.

Edit: This is my super villain origin story. My alias? Zero Covid, as I post in the corners of the internet against all the Covid-defeatist libtards in the world. Owning them, epically, with rhetoric and insults.

China is removing covid restrictions and a lot of people here are reflexive in their support

Ohhhh, I have mixed feelings on that tbh though I feel safe-ish to assume the public health officials of China have not been compromised like those in the west in sacrificing workers lives to the great mammon for profits.

In all honesty I feel China has a far better ability to control covid outbreaks than the US and so have loosened some of the harder restrictions whilst keeping containment of recognized outbreaks a focus (compare to the "let her rip" attitude of the west without even trying to have high enough vaccination rates or mask mandating). So again I trust China's public health officials to have a better and more realistic viewpoint on how loose they can allow restrictions to get before they risk long term damage to the populace via long covid (as they are not swimming in covid like the US still is and likely always will be).

Depends on how many people get covid if things continue as is then eventually everyone will get covid repeatedly and one of these times will develop long covid. Except a tyny minority that has some genetic imunity. For aids this is between 1 and 2 percent i imagine covid will be similar.

Also when there is a 0 covid policy your qol is not afected that much because you have asume everuone around you is covid free. I live in a shithole where nobody cares abou covid. Just taking precautios is hell. I i stll think i got covd. Couldnt confirm because i cant aford testing. But was coughing every time i drank something for 2 months afterwards.

I cant do any of that shit man! I didnt go to my cousins wedding because in my country we have a pro covid policy. If there was a 0 covid i could because there wouldnt be fovid. Except for bref periods of time when a plague rat enter the town but that is still better than not being able at all.

As for the jobs. Yes that is a problem. That being said in the place i work in revenue during covid actually increase a bit while since bidens war in ukraine it halved. I hhear it was the same for most sectors of the economy so of that is your concern go and fix the main oroblems harming the economy before sacrificing your people to the lord of plague.

I would literally shoot someone if it meant I could live under zero-covid. You know what’s far more exhausting than zero-covid? The constant fear of death and permanent disability I’m currently walking around with.

catching covid carries very serious risks for everyone, long covid is not just hitting the elderly and the immunocompromised

When an overwhelming majority has been vaccinated, and wearing masks indoors and during flu season is highly normalized, they can probably avoid the worst of it with a few guidelines around air flow, air filtration, and distancing.

The CPC has a more consistent record of improving material conditions than Internet Experts have of analyzing Chinese topics. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, not you.

      Literally every china struggle session

Remember "they're making video games illegal" turning into "they're limiting kids under 18 from playing free to play online games and the limit is put on the companies themselves and not the parents or children"

      Lmao

Newest one is they're saying china has been forced to no longer make domestic video games, and if any are released, it's only for the west

            it isnt

in fact i looked up discussion about it on bilibili and its mostly just a feud between netease and blizzard, netease saying good riddance to them and the gamers in the comments seem happy about it too, describing blizzard as 'chauvinistic pigs of the old era'

As a westerner I have the greatest understanding of governance of other countries. I know that the country that had possibly the most serious reaction to Covid is going to do the wrong thing because I am the governance understander.

I also speak mandarin and have read what they are doing from the source and I have seen it in practice. They preparing the train cars of elderly corpses as I type this.
