Why are some queer people like this? I was in a lesbian bar, dancing with my girlfriend, and a gay cis man (non-white) grabbed my ass and said, "girl, you can really work that ass". I wasn't seeing red like I would have if he had been straight, but it was still creepy as hell.

I think various groups of people normalise it among themselves and then end up doing it with anyone while in venues they're regulars at, then it becomes normalised at the venue and anyone coming into that environment ends up a confused and feeling slightly violated victim of it... Until they normalise it themselves too if they end up being regular there. Speaking from experience myself too.

It's gross because it implies that it's only harassment/assault if there's attraction involved. If a straight man touches a woman's butt, "whatever I wasn't even into her anyway" obviously won't absolve him. Why do people think this is any different?

The reason to think Andrew Tate might be able to beat you in a fight is because he is legitimately a former kickboxing champion of some type or another and never stops talking about it, no matter how much I don’t like him it’s a fact he probably knows how to fight.

The reason to think he might have raped some women is because he’s a sex trafficker.

It’s not because his dad is black. Nobody thinks that but Aimee here

I'm checking his bonafides on Wikipedia for the first time. He's been a monster kickboxer. He's got that 6'3@205 meaning he'd be unbelievably annoying to fight against with an orangutan reach. Before I would call him and myself as mixed black as some kind of archetype, I'd sooner archetype him as someone incredibly difficult to get within striking range of. He's the archetype of a goddamn southpaw kicking the fuck out of my leg the nanosecond I have a neuronal synapse fire off causing me to think about jabbing (I switched to practicing southpaw to be more annoying). I've sparred with pro fighters and they're amazing. I could imagine knowing him in 2006-2007 when he was doing MMA. I knew a guy who tried to kick my head off because he was training for a fight. Fighters would always be sparring a little harder and I recognized their livelihood depended on them sticking to a training schedule.

His opponents do skew whiter than I would have predicted. I'd hardly call the African blood coursing through his veins the archetype that propelled him to a 76-9 pro record. My record blows and is mostly grappling and entirely amateur. It's a little discouraging to have someone talk about his fight acumen and race in the same breath. I've never heard of an archetype discourse in my life, so maybe I'm the archetypical African-blooded fool.

His record may be fake. It’s very hard to find evidence of most of those wins.

I don't know about fake. But it could easily be staked with amateurs who just got into the ring to have their shit kicked in.

No shortage of bloated egos willing to play punching bag to a professional.

I remember at some point that many matches can’t be confirmed and the organization he was with for most was considered shady, plus he can’t decide if it’s 39 and 9 or 79 and 9.

Basically, the safe assumption is that everything he claims is a lie.

Kickboxing is a notoriously shallow pool in combat sports, especially in the US. These are probably mostly smoker type fights. My old Coach was an alphabet kickboxing champion. He was better than me for sure, but not as good as you would think.

because we weren’t truly dedicated marxists

stopped pretending and now she just hates the left

That's the usual Hexbear wrecker story arc, too. It tends to start with "as the one true leftist, this cherrypicked interpretation of Marx/Mao/whatever says you're all wrong" shit stirring.

            Yes

This misconception comes from the fact she got banned from twitter but people kept making fake tweets ascribed to her account so for a while people were saying the account is "fake" but recently she was unbanned so they are "back" to being a "real person."

I see both these things as being true.

Her takes are too dumb to be a real person, but for a while if you tried looking her up you had lots of "sources" saying the account is fake due to the anachronistic tweets (or whatever the appropriate word is for this, tweets being made when they couldn't have been made.)
