I love the videos of actors doing motion capture with a really emotionally intense scene and then suddenly everyone gets up and t poses while they’re still crying and shit. Dunno the science, but that shit is funny.

I don't know who that is. It's a reference to the classic 60s comedy film. Its a Mad Mad Mad Mad World (which slaps super hard)

Edit: looked up Dhamaal and the summary makes me think the movie may be an homage. Rat Race was as well.

It's something that normally mimicks natural movement suddenly doing a completely unnatural and unexpected action which abruptly takes you out of your suspension of disbelief and immersion.

Basically has the same set up as a joke in that way

because the a default position in 3d modelling software showing up sometimes a fallback for when a videogame breaks a little is contextually very silly.

also because we very rarely get to see something hit a total failure state and have the outcome be absurd instead of completely horrific.

when people or animals reach a complete failure state, we fucking die.
      building? collapse.
      aeroplane engines? explosive plane crash.
structural integrity of earth's crust? volcanic explosion

but an animated visual representation of a human or animal, constructed of millions of polygons, controlled by thousands to millions of lines of code, meticulously voice acted and covered in incredibly high-res textures? you know what it does?

it just goes "uhhhh gimme the T"

It's way more common in Star Citizen. :only-good-gamer:

Because it's the funniest way to establish dominance.
