Made $200 under the table today working as a translator for a rich Saudi failson who couldn't speak English. A rare event where speaking Arabic loudly in public was beneficial in this hell country. Gonna spend this unearned money on weed, food and a new SSD for my PC

The SSD is like 50 bucks nowadays, shit has become cheap. Weed and food keep getting more expensive though, but $150 should be enough even for a large son like me

friendship ended with c/electoralism. c/main is my new best friend

(for real tho, as if c/main won't be unbearable with US electoralism both the week before and after the election)

some twitter lib i follow going on and on about considering cancelling his sub to WaPo. I was like, oh nice is the constant imperialist excuses getting to you? Or maybe merely the constant catering to neoliberal businessmen?

Nope, it was a single opinion piece by a conservative who's gonna vote for Orange Man (& was always gonna vote for Orange Man). Libs care about the most inconsequential shit, like imagine THAT's the only problem with WaPo. And this dude is still giving them money lmaooo pathetic

I am so much better at wonky policy stuff than I am at organizing. I wish that's what the world needed so I could do that instead.

Update from Saudi failson that paid me $200 yesterday:

He wants me to do another round of translation work today. Told him that I was busy (I'm not), he upped his offer to $300 plus lunch lmao. Too easy to scam idiot rich failsons.

    Finally looked up WAP.

Who knew wireless access points were so integral to network infrastructure?

I watched Battleship Potemkin tonight, that movie slaps. Gonna have to seek out more USSR "propaganda" movies if that's the level of filmmaking on display.

White Sun of the Desert, heroic Soviet officer helps Kazakh Peasants defend themselves against bandits in Civil war Russia, teaches them theory.

      Hell, any "Ostern".

That's kind of the point of an Ostern.

It's a standard Western, but it's the (End of the, usually) Russian Civil War, the Native Americans/Mexican Bandits/Ex-Confederates/Cattle Rustlers are White Bandits/Evil Cossacks/Lost Czech or American Imperialists and the Cowboy/Soldier/Sheriff is a single or multinational group of Heroic Soviet Soldiers.

There's usually a lot more comedy that a traditional Western though.
