It's very easy. Just point out how all the explicitly anti-China countries are white, or military vassal states of white countries (Japan)

Then point out the military base situation in Africa--look at all that CHINESE colonialism:
https://issafrica.s3.amazonaws.com/site/images/2019-08-27-iss-today-foreign-military-map.png

Also point out how literally every Muslim country is okay with China with respect to the Uyghurs.

Then if you want you can talk about Lebron James and Terry Crews. There really shouldn't be a single Black person or POC who is anti-China to be completely frank.

Conversations like this shouldn't be had on a majority white forum because they're is an ongoing controversey of anti-blackness and racism in certain "poc" groups that you all don't seem to be aware because you're not part of that conversation. Ijs

Is there any forum anywhere that isn't majority white? Serious question in good faith.

oh shit it is dead, to be fair though a lot of comms are dead because people just post to !main@hexbear.net and call it a day but that is super dead. Also my bad about the forums lol, I don't hear much about legit forums much anymore.

I still visit forums. Especially now that I'm not on reddit anymore and need places to talk about something specific that chapo chat doesn't cater too. Alot are still going strong.

I tried to for a little while but I just can't get into them anymore, most of them have their own culture that's hard to break into for me.

I've literally never seen a Black or Hispanic person say anything bad about China. It's only ever been White and Asian people.

This take feels kind of infantalising to think you can just tell POC some magic words and they will be pro china or something. I can't speak about black people at all but I know in SEA they are very racist towards china, they are adults with thoughts and feelings just like Americans, there's no magic way to change their mind.

idk, I'm Guyanese myself and it seems like a lot of people are prone to being brainwashed by the white people and propaganda that surround them.

No doubt! Most of Indonesia is extremely anti-communist and deny the genocide that occurred during the 60's there. However, I feel like this really oversimplifies how to convince people and why they think the way they do. My experience is mostly with Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore but these places have had anti-chinese racism and I don't really think the origin of it is purely based in western interference. It's definitely been accelerated by it (see -> antichinese stuff after the coup in indonesia), but just pointing out that China isn't the aggressor in SEA is unlikely to convince people.

As a former Chinese minority in Indonesia (who has gone to China now), this is unbelievably and upsettingly true. It's unavoidable.

There was a lot I liked about my former home, but it was hard to deal with.

redditor subhumans are going to instantaneously boycott him when they find out about this. The only thing puzzling me is why it hasn't really blown up yet.

still it's fuckin' based that he did this

There is a latent fear - imagined or otherwise - of rich Chinese people buying up lands in their countries, driving up property prices and eventually gaining control of their economy.

Counterpoint: isn't that literally what's happenning to SEAsia right now, but with whites instead of Chinese?

What I want to stress here is that this is not in any way restricted to white people.

I know it's not restricted to white people, but whites have a racial incentive to stay brainwashed. Other races don't. So IMO it's easier to redpill POC, because then you're just fighting the propaganda, instead of the propaganda + their racism/status threat fears.

I've also seen far more receptivity on Black subreddits to this idea--although there are still some minorities, and more importantly white trolls posing as minorities, who are still chudified

so if you condition your rhetoric too strongly on identity, you run the risk of spooking the whites.

That's not really a problem if you're just talking to POC though

For what it's worth, I used to lurk r/blackfellas and it was very common there for people to dislike China because they thought people there were racist against black people. Like they'd have stories of stores in China refusing to sell to African migrants and stuff like that.

That's just it though. Generally, a health amount of us support China in many cases compared to the West (including with the Belt and Road Initiative in Africa, as it actually benefits the people unlike colonial oppression). But the occasional racial issues in China are still a very real thing, and do properly need to be addressed.

It's kind of hard for a lot of people here because black people aren't especially common, and so there isn't enough active conversation about it. I really hope to see this improve as ties with African countries increase.
