What if tomorrow we all woke up and it was still 2007

Well if I have to go back to 4th grade I'm not doing my homework this time around either.

Dragonforce is not questionable quality! That's Revisonism! Pure Revisionism! There'll be hell to pay if Stalin hears about this!

September 2007...I was wearing size 0 girls jeans, obsessed with the band Norma Jean, straight edge, really funny and outward in Drama class but socially inept and shy everywhere else, but I also lost my virginity.

It was also the greatest year of the 00s for pop music. Nelly Furtado, Timbaland, Fergie, Justin Timberlake, and T-Pain were killing it with bangers I still listen to.

This song came out in the end of 2006, but it was still good the next year. Jam to some Nelly Furtado with me and think about what you were doing.

I would give everything to go back to 2011. Life after college is not worth living.

I started university in 2010, would definitely give everything to go back to then as well.

For those who don't know , It was used in England until the early 20th century to describe the Liberal Party (same as the Conservaties are Tories) and to some exteny occasionally today to describe the Lib Dems. It originated as the party of trading industrialists and anti-feudalists in early 18th century Britain but suffered several splits, especially on the French Revolution. Hilariously Edmund Burke was one.

I hate listening to people talk about the economy. The economy thrives by fucking over almost everyone. Fuck the economy.

Saving our democracy is a huge fucking meme but some of that stuff about proud boys and illegitimate elections is kinda fucked. I really don’t want hear about libs protesting Trump stealing the election getting gunned down by some militia somewhere. Shit is getting weird.

Will that debate actually flip anyone, though? Like even my boomer parents have shifted from Trump supporters to "jesus christ one of these people is going to be president," but they're still gonna vote Trump since they figure he won't raise their taxes. I think so many Republicans are either scared of Biden or single issue voters that there is literally no situation where they flip.

sorry, I'm genuinely not trying to be a dick here, but what do you mean by housed? as in having a house/living in a house? why do you find this bad? what alternative do you like better?

really, genuinely no sarcasm in this, I just really want to understand your POV. typing this out i feel like I could very easily be misconstrued as a bit of an asshole here but I promise these questions are in good faith

Given the timeline you gave that you were housed in February, considering that's also when covid19 started hitting America, for what it's worth EVERYONE's lives started going downhill so at least you have company.

      Hang in there, comrade.
