I'm sure reactionaries will be cool and normal about this announcement and totally not blame the virus on gays again.
They'll blame it on Africans this time since the continent had declared it a health emergency.

Yeah. Even outside of the 6-9 month surges, Covid spikes are occuring "randomly" in less populated areas. That's how the Wastewater stays elevated during non-surge breaks.
