literally didnt even recognize him. jim carrey needs to go back on in living color, hes too capable for snl.
in living color needs to be a thing again.
It's a funny bit when you realize it's saying that Kamala should murder Joe Biden
question: why do mayos make up meaningless terms for shit that already exists?
Regardless of your political feelings on this you don't need to make up "WAP" when you can just say "woman pres" or "female pres"
I feel the same way when I go to mayo restaurants and see 5 million different names for trivially different combinations sandwich fillings. There's burgers, hotdogs and sandwiches, anything past that is masturbation
Idk if you're misunderstanding this intentionally, but it's a reference to the CardiB song.
A woman for president? You mean like Gloria La Riva or Angela Davis?
(tbh im kind of sad that Angela Davis is too old and isn't running)
Also say they're racists and support the border wall and children in cages because La Riva is a Latina.
She pretty much would be the real president. Biden with his dementia is just a puppet. They went with Harris for a reason, as she represents their interests more fittingly.
Libs will just focus on her being black and a woman. They'll ignore the authoritarian side she represents and the groundwork she'll lay for our future fascist dictatorship.
She scares the shit out of me and was the most dangerous of the candidates in the primary. She is basically the Dems version of Dick Cheney. If they win, I 100% expect her to push some fucked up laws giving law enforcement more rights over us.
anyone else feel like they are going crazy? like, everyone else, normal people actually likes SNL and thinks its good and cool. I was a lib a back even in 2016 (probably still am, but am working on it), but this is incredible cringe now and dystopian. what do you do to check in and make sure you are right, or at least more correct than the libs?
i look at the state of science with climate change and how little the libs are doing, and i'm like, well, we're fucked but I'm not crazy
As a non-american, is SNL still popular there? Because man, every political skit they release is embarrassing af.
There's been a notable drop in how much of its cast is doing other successful stuff. Bill Hader, Kristen Wiig, and Andy Samberg were probably the last recent cast members to have a lot of success outside of it. I think Kate McKinnon, Pete Davidson, and Leslie Jones are the only recent cast members to have some success outside of it, but nowhere near on the level that a lot of the 90s and 2000s cast members were having. I think comedy basically dying as a blockbuster movie genre and NBC sitcoms dropping off in popularity in the past decade really has made it so SNL cast members don't have the crossover star power they used to have.
I believe its ratings are consistently okay. High enough to justify keeping it in that time slot.
maybe with the over-forty crowd? idk. its still around so its making them money i guess
I only recently found this out myself, but Maya Rudolph's mother was the singer Minnie Riperton.
yeah but their weekend update Chinese Trade Representative Chen Biao sketch is good.

In case people want to see it, it was ok I guess, very energetic performance, but I only laughed at the line about the wall. The political understanding of the world displayed by that clip is horrible though.
