I liked what Matt said on one of his streams:

He is still a few days/a week after showing symptoms, the most dangerous part of the infection is still before him. Herman Cain also felt better, and then died a week later.

Trump is an ancient flesh golem made of McDonalds and he doesn't excersize out of principle - he is very at risk, even with the most expensive healthcare in the world.

Even if he survives, he will not be the same person anymore, he is basically done, politically. This illness takes a toll on people.

Yep, even if he survives, I don't imagine he won't have some pretty severe long-lasting effects. Even potential side effects from the newer treatments they were giving to him.

The main side effect, which I expect to least, appears to be him going absolutely insane.

So like, would he be a less efective fascist? Like imagine Q rallying around an increasingly more and more incoherent trump to the point even they start to notice.

I wouldn't overestimate Q people's ability to be swayed by more incoherency. Their entire worldview is completely incoherent already.

They will find someone else to latch on to aftet Trump. The right won't waste what they've built up with Q just because Trump loses his mind or kicks it.

Herman Cain didn't get the same level of care that Trump did, the drugs are a lot better, and Trump has an X factor that makes him immortal. As Matt or Felix said on a recent episode, the fact that Trump is still alive in general goes against nature.

Are the drugs a lot better? Like, there’s only so much money can buy, if a reliable cure doesn’t exist it doesn’t exist

Compared to 3 months ago? Absolutely. And it doesn't have to be 100% reliable for Trump to pull through, it just has to work on him and he's insane enough to take whatever is out there.

I think it's a lot higher chance he dies than other people do. This idiot is just vibing off the steroids they gave him, he's not "better" or anything.

By now they surely have to have a functioning karmavirus ward in the white house, or at least enough special equipment for him. I know they have the surgical capacity for someone giving birth so they might even be able to get him on an ECMO there.

With him visibly having difficulty breathing on the Eisenhower balcony and his warlock doctor dodging the question on lung damage, I'm optimistic that it's 1 or 2. He has so many cardiovascular risk factors and probably a history of strokes. Even if they use robocop medicine on him, his heart will be taxed and his arteries will be inflamed. That's putting me on standby to buy an ice cream cake.

Yep. I remember watching the vlog of an ICU nurse early on in the pandemic. She was describing how patients would go from treatment to treatment either failing to respond or the response not being enough. Eventually it'd be supplemental oxygen, then the ventilator, then the ECMO, and finally they'd just drown in blood. Who knows how likely that is for him because all the medical data we have is bullshit, but that's the natural course of it.

It's probably number 3. Without treatment, he'd probably be in rough shape right now. The whole 1 week resurgence is far less likely for someone who's getting the right drugs AND is being intensely monitored 24/7.

It's also common sense for the administration not to report every single detail of what's going on because they know it will just turn into a circus.

I'm not in any way a doctor, but statistics for just a person his age are about 8 in 100. Given he's shown bad symptoms and is unhealthy to begin with, I'd say 75 survive/25 die. The fact that he was doing that poorly that early into it is a very bad sign for him. Even if the drugs have bounced him back a bit, it could very well be temporary.

Still, he's got enough money being pumped into making sure he survives that I only put him at 1 in 4 for death. As for horrible lung damage or lasting effects? Like thats almost certain.

just spitballing here, but his worse symptoms could be because he's doing stuff he shouldn't in his condition, namely walking and talking.. i think he's worsening his own odds by continuously campaigning.. still hope he'll croak, but i think his odds are better than chris christies.

    I'd say less that 5%.

He's being given the best healthcare in the world, and anything short of him vomiting his lungs out will be papered over with tens of millions of dollars and every form of life support known to humanity.

He'll likely have his lungs/heart destroyed by it and die a couple of years out of office. The only upside will be getting to watch him slowly wither as he refuses to get off twitter and die quietly.

I'd settle for hospital/bed ridden for the next few weeks/months, tbh. Maybe a little death, as a treat

If they try and give him a lung transplant at his age and condition with COVID and god alone knows what experimental drugs in his system he'll be dead before they make the first inscision.

Hmm, if he survives via lung transplant that's fine honestly, that could mean he's completely out right before the election.

And I don't think he could survive lung AND kidney transplants, no matter how good the care.

I am terrible at predictions and seem to be wrong on key things. So I’m adamant he will not die. If I predict the worst and it happens, I’m prescient, and if I’m wrong he’s fuckin dead.

Weeds don't wither and he has access to the best possible healthcare. So unfortunately, he'll probably be fine

He'll die. He won't be dying any time soon, but at least he'll die sooner after contracting this virus.

Well considering he is still sharing videos of him standing in front of a green screen, I don’t think he is doing fine at all.
