It's already effectively happened the moment Trump was clearly the winner. The "threat to democracy" rhetoric got shut off, Kamala and every media outlet swapped from "he's literally Hitler!" to "we must accept the results of this election".
Probably something along the lines of "teh evil Iranian regime has attacked our democracy!"
As in the establishment? No acknowledgement that Trump was who he was, they'd just instantly use it to try to invade (and fail).
Rank and file? Probably a lot of horror, some would recognize that it's a good thing, but the vast majority would get 9/12 levels of racist against all brown people.
Please that would be so funny from literally everyone. Though I feel like it would end super poorly for Iran now that I think about it.
