It definitely makes sense that the CIA would be against Biden, a guy who definitely wouldn't be 100% with the intelligence agencies.

See my critique of breadtube is that it's kind of like John Oliver. They make good points, they introduce the public to individual good ideas that I like, but they're ultimately self-serving celebrities recuperating budding radical energy into silly performances and bourgeois reformism. Like if there was any CIA op, it'd be social democrats coopting the language of anarchism and democratic socialism to reinforce empire while demanding fealty from the left because we're all comrades and they're the celebrity comrades we all enjoy while also decrying anything to the left of them.

If i was a ghoul in Langley, what would worry me about breadtube would be the radicalization potential, and furthering sectarianism among more moderate communities would be the most effective way to limit that. Breadtube is basically the reason why i'm here, and i don't think i'm alone in that. But that breadtube to chapo pipeline required something that's being destroyed rn, reddit communities where moderate and radical leftists can coexist and share interests.

I'm not saying it's a CIA op, it can also be explained by market dynamics. Vaushist drama creates attention and attention is capital for youtube creators. And it doesn't matter if it's an op or if it's inherent to the platform that things develop like that - what matters is that it has the effect that it clogs the pipeline from radlib to revleft and we need to find ways to work around that.

I don't think it's a CIA op, only that if accusations of CIA ops are being thrown around that's the kind myself and my fellow agents would do. Breadtube existing as a pipeline is useful if it does push people toward further radicalisation. It just hits a lot of elements of Debordian Spectacle that make me very wary of it on its own.

This is in the dunktank? Lame content is what belongs here.

EDIT: This is not in the dunktank and definitely should be.

That's fair, I more wanted to dunk on this specific dumb take I saw on twitter. I mostly avoid breadtube, minus a few of the people who fall in simply because the definition is loose (Shaun and Cody).

So did I, until I saw that he supported a unilateral invasion of North Korea to stop them from getting nukes :(

I think he figured out this was a terrible take eventually? Either way, I like him too but I see him as an entertainment channel and not really a politics channel, and I think that's how he sees himself too.

It was on something called ask.fm. Can't find a link to it, though.

Liberalism is really a cargo cult, they hear our arguments against anti-communists and then just repeat them back to us completely divorced from context and meaning, hoping that the mere act of incantation will ward off evil leftist spirits.

Lol so I looked this clown up and they have a recent YouTube video claiming Virgil and BGJ are grifters- oh hey look he's mad about leftists not being on board with Biden. 3 minutes in he argues that we can't do direct action under Trump because he's a fascist, but if we elected Biden we could do protests and shit because Biden wouldn't/couldn't "demonize the left" and wouldn't have the same "fascist tools" at his disposal like Trump does.

Meanwhile, per that Twitter convo, he made this list to keep track of any leftist that he thinks has dumb ideas, lol. He's in the same tier as Vaush or Destiny imo

Well I don't think any of these people are really leftists, by "leftist twitter" I just mean the people on twitter who pretend they are leftists.
