here in LA it was normal to see drive thru lines for In N Out stretching halfway down the block before the pandemic. their food's delicious ofc but god damn at what point do you see the 2 dozen cars in front of you and think "i'll be okay with mcdonalds today" or just going home lol

my local taco bell is usually like that. i hate waiting so i go next door to arby's which is always empty, get served some terrible food, and regret the whole thing. i've done this 5+ times

The local Chick-fil-A is like this.

I mean, enjoy popping off $8 for a six-pack of nuggets

I'm going to the Popeye's where I can get a tenders basket with blackened ranch and a fried apple pie

If you're going to wait 3 hours in traffic just to get home, what's an additional 30 minutes of munching on some double doubles :agony-4horsemen:

No offense but if I had to wait in traffic for 3 hours I'd just take my car off a canyon road while flooring it

I’ve more than a few times drove up to a place with a long ass drive thru line, and then came up with a brilliant idea! What if I just parked my car and walked into the place and got the food at the counter.

I haven’t used a drive thru in years.

If you're talking about the one I think you're talking about, I've heard it has the second longest line of any In n Out, excepting the one on the Vegas strip

Probably not? I'm just talking about the ones around my neighborhood that I pass by often
