reddit has gotten 1000 times more right-wing ever since chapo was banned.
They just made a new one at r/donaldtrump and it is has been growing steadily.
ofc they did.
Meanwhile the fucking Bad Faith subreddit got taken down for "ban evasion," because a CTH mod created it.
Social Media is cancer.
Podcasters are our future.
That said, /r/blackfaithfeed/ appears to persist.
Not that reddit isn't a cesspool, but this is the most cursed astroturf I've ever seen.
All the Gen Z kids are turning neoliberal before our eyes.
Soon Pinochet shirts will replace Che shirts on college campuses.
reddit is the favored domain of the PMC so it's probably more them
lol, whenever I used to shit on the PMC "leftists" as 99% radlibs merely adopting an aesthetic, but still actively gentrifying neighborhoods, and still not doing a damn thing to even try to help the working class, on the old sub, if it was during business hours in the US, I'd get downvoted. If it wasn't, I'd get upvoted.
have gen z stepsons and can confirm
"you use reddit lol fucking cringe wtf"
I have yet to meet a single member of Gen Z who uncritically supports Biden. I have met some who joined the whole settleforbiden movement, seen some who just cared about football or lacrosse, and I’ve even encountered a few edgelord chuds. But I have NEVER seen a full Biden stan, at least not yet.
The settle for Biden people definitely have unironically moved on to liking him. It's definitely a good thing AOC has been going after the party the last few days to bring them out of it.
Man. This makes me think a revolution is even less possible. Not without Acc*lerationism anyway...
Can we talk about helicopters because as a helicopter enthusiast I really think they have a bad rap.
These subs have all been regularly hitting popular due to engagement on their respective megathreads. Meanwhile they ban any sub remotely resembling chapo on site.
They banned multiple attempts people made to make a sub for bad faith pod.
Lol so "the donald" got banned, but those people just made another subreddit and it wasn't banned? Meanwhile, anything left-wing gets banned immediately, before they could even think about violating Reddit TOS.
Nah, it was made back in 2011 or so (for some reason), and just got 'repurposed'.
Of course, Reddit mods ignoring it is a different story.
Can anyone here even comment in neoliberal? I threatened to kill all of them and was banned.
I got banned for saying someone was a genocidal maniac because they wanted to invade Cuba and Venezuela to win over Miami voters
It's all the accounts I keep making when reddit suspends them.
So this is part of a planned propaganda effort, right? It has to be. I just wonder who's ultimately behind it.
r/neoliberal is a part of the Progressive Policy Institute, a think tank funded by Exxon Mobil and other corporations. I don't know if it's possible to artificially increase subreddit activity on reddit but if it's possible they would have the money to do it.
